Sycamore Shoals Hospital is located in Elizabethton Tennessee and is a nonprofit hospital with a dedicated staff that operates using a patient centered approach. Offering a wide range of comprehensive health and medical services in general medicine, surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and women's diagnostics and specialties, Sycamore Shoals Hospital delivers these services in a caring, sensitive, and compassionate manner. With 121 beds, this acute care hospital is fully equipped for both inpatient and outpatient needs with a 24 hour emergency department, a Family Birth Center, and a Level II nursery and women's diagnosis center.

The Children's Hospital at Johnson City Medical Center is a beautiful hospital that provides children and their families with a wealth of services and resources. Using the very best in medical technology and expertise, the Children's Hospital offers care and treatment in specialties such as Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Neonatology, Adolescent Medicine, Nephrology, Hospitality, Hematology, Oncology, Genetics, Endocrinology, Development and Behavior, Surgery, Neurology, Dentistry, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Cardiac Surgery, Adolescent Psychiatry, and Critical Care. Johnson City Medical Center is a 443 bed not for profit hospital affiliated with East Tennessee State University. Providing Level I trauma care and a full range of specialty and sub specialty medical care services, this hospital comes complete with a warm and welcoming family atmosphere. As part of the Mountain States Health Alliance, Johnson City Medical Center is the largest hospital in the system.

Johnson City Specialty Hospital is now part of the Mountain State Health Alliance and is a 49 bed acute care hospital that offers a wholesome and warm family atmosphere. Using state of the art equipment the excellent staff at this hospital provides special care for patients. The specialty hospital provides the following special services: obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, diabetes treatment, generally and plastic surgery and diagnostic breast care. The hospital does not have an emergency department at this time but provides several other inpatient services while also specializing in a plethora of outpatient specialties.

The rehabilitation department founded in 1998 that was once part of Johnson City Medical Center is now a full multiple department hospital, the James H. and Cecile C. Quillen Rehabilitation Hospital. This 60 bed hospital provides a wide range of optimal healthcare and comprehensive services and assists patients with problems related to, however not limited to: brain injury, stroke, amputation, spinal cord injury, burns, orthopedic injury, rheumatologic impairments, neurological and neuromuscular problems and other major multiple traumas.

North Side Hospital is located on 24 beautiful acres and is a 119 bed general and acute care hospital located in Johnson City that provides a wide range of services and care. The skilled nurses and support staff at North Side Hospital are equipped with state of the art technologies and the 24 hour emergency care department offers premium care. Also, North Side is the home of Medworks, the only 24 hour occupational medicine program in Northeast Tennessee.

Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital is a 75 bed inpatient hospital that provides mental health and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents, and adults ages 6 and older. Using only the newest and proven techniques, the excellently skilled staff at Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital always keep the patient in mind.

Indian Path Medical Center is a popular hospital offering 330 beds and a full range of services including emergency, family centered birthing center, geriatric, and psychiatric. Located in Kingsport, Indian Path is part of a gigantic medical complex at which both the medical center and pavilion are located. At the Indian Path Pavilion patients 18 and older are treated for chemical and mental dependency at this 48 bed center. Both Inpatient and outpatient services are provided on an individual basis and a team of professionals manage each case differently.

Holston Valley Medical Center is Kingsport’s premier medical facility. In 2005 and 2007, Holston Valley was named one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals for cardiac care. Holston Valley also houses one of only six of Tennessee’s Level I trauma centers. This means it is equipped to care for the most critically injured patients and, the hospital’s Level III neonatal intensive care unit heals the region’s sickest babies. Featuring 544 beds, the hospital is staffed by more than 350 board-certified or board-eligible physicians and 1,900 talented nurses, technicians and support staff members.
